Alfred nodded, “Yeah. My dad was a noble though. But he died.” He said, frowning slightly. “Anyway, what about you? Are ya anythin’ special in wherever you came from?”

The demon hummed as he looked the king over, a small smile tugging at his lips. “That’s good. I’m doing pretty well right now… Judging by your accent, you grew up in the country… didn’t you?”

“Oh, yeah I did.” Alfred chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck bashfully. “Could ya tell? Is my accent really that thick?”
